Welcome to Summer Day Camp at Brookfield Academy. Our staff is drawn primarily from our trained and experienced Brookfield Academy faculty. Our staff members are certified in First Aid and Child CPR and are trained in working with school-aged children to give them a fun and educational summer experience.
The Summer Programs at Brookfield Academy have been carefully planned to provide a safe, challenging and fun-filled "Camp" atmosphere.
Summer camp is a time for fun, friendships, and explorations. The mission of Camp Explorations is to provide a place that uses the child’s growing capacity to make choices, work together with others, and assume responsibility in a relaxed and non-school atmosphere to create memories that last a lifetime.
Campers enrolled in Brookfield Academy's summer program will be going on weekly field trips this summer. We travel by Michigan State approved buses. In order to transport small children in the safest way possible, campers weighing less than 50 pounds will be transported using a child safety restraint system. The child wears a special vest that hooks onto the cam harness attached to the bus seat. The camper's transportation and entrance fees are included in the summer tuition. Each child enrolled will receive a Camp Brookfield t-shirt. Parents may choose to take their own child in their own car if they do not wish to use the bus.
Whether your child is years old or 10 years old, Camp Explorations seeks to offer excitement, challenges, new ideas and skills, and opportunities to make lifelong friends.

What is Camp Explorations?
Nine weeks of summer day camps filled with fun activities, learning experiences, social and academic opportunities. Camp Explorations is presented by Brookfield Academy and Bright Horizons Family Solutions, continuing a tradition of personalized care and professional education to the families in our community.
